The Norwegian Hickorygolf Society (NHGS) and Kongsvingers Golf Club welcome Norwegian and international hickory players.
The Championships will be played in four classes.
The 2025 Norwegian Open Hickory Championship
Ladies – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, gross competition
Gentlemen – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, gross competition
The 2025 Kongsvingers Golf Club Open Hickory Championship
Ladies – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, handicap competition with 140 % handicap allowance
Gentlemen – 18 holes stroke play, Maximum Score (Rule 21.2), par +5, handicap competition with 140 % handicap allowance

Practice play
Book your tee-time for practice directly with the Pro Shop, Kongsvingers GC, ph +47 958 19 391 (opening hours 09 - 18).
Greenfee will depend on the greenfee for the day for practice.
Sunday 31th
11.00 – Registration in the Pro Shop
12.00 - Start the tournament, 18 holes stroke play
The awards will be held in the clubhouse as soon as all players have finished playing. It will also be an opportunity to have something from the club's menu. You may pre-order your when you start from hole 1.
Entries
To sign up for the competitions (individually), please use the competition entry link via GolfBox before 19 August, noon.
If you are unable to submit your entry via GolfBox, please email hallo@hickorygolf.no with all your contact information before 19 August, noon.
The entry fee is NOK 940 for the Championships.
Discount of NOK 200 to members of the Norwegian Hickorygolf Society, an equivalent foreign organisation or a recognised golf historical society.
A discount of NOK 590 to KvsGK members.
The starting fee (except for NHGS membership or equivalent - NOK 200) is paid together with the registration in Pro Shop Kongsvinger's GK on Sunday, 31 August. If you withdraw from the tournament after the registration deadline has expired, you must pay the entry fee.
As membership of NHGS or an equivalent foreign organisation or national golf historical society is required to participate in the championship, non-members of NHGS or equivalent will require membership of NHGS for 2025 to participate. NOK NOK 200 must be paid to NHGS by Tuesday, 26 August. Payment information will be sent by email to participants who will have to pay for a membership.
